Unicorn oil body Lava: Illuminating Glow Elixir Review

Body glitter is now a thing in the beauty market and Rihanna's body Lava is leading the market no doubt. Last year, my friend got me some items for my birthday and a body glitter was among. I use to apply eye shadow with glitters or highlighter on my skin when going out with friends at night. I kept speaking to her about how much I love my skin shining and glittering at night, then she decided to surprise me by getting me the Unicorn oil illuminating glow elixir.

Have you ever heard of this product? well, when I received this product it was my first time hearing about it. The body illuminating product comes in a silver with little rainbow designed pack and it looks really nice because it portrays the product so well. I will give the packaging a 99.9%.

Application: I opened the bottle and applied some on my skin I started with a little quantity but it was not looking good so I added more to see how nice it would look and I kept blending to get a fine and perfect outcome which never happened.
The funny thing about this review is that I decided to clean it off and try it another time, thinking my application method was not so good or correct. I tried it again and again and the outcome was same.

Texture: The texture of this product is creamy but when applied to your skin is becomes sticky. I tried blending and blending but it never blended to look any better. I am not sure if any person has a good review about this product but I must say this, I watched some youtube videos which didn't really say its bad but kept the negative review mild. Some said it's lacking a lot of glitters while some said it is very sticky. Any little contact with clothes, all the glitters cleans up, and even without any contact with clothes it still cleans up after sometime. Generally, this is a very low cost product and for the price do not expect much. More beauty Review here.

  3. What a letdown that it is sticky! It looks beautiful on the skin but if it isn't wearable, there is really no point. Thank you for sharing your honest thoughts on this.

    1. You are welcome Shannon, honestly I was so excited about this product but the outcome just killed my vibe,I am either getting Fenty beauty body lava or I will keep using my glitter eyeshadow for now.

  4. Thanks for sharing such a honest review. It is a shame this body glitter is not only stick but it doesn't blend well and the glitter falls off. I think I'll definitely pass.

    1. Well, we move forward to a better product. Companies and businesses need to check what they put out for the mass to buy.

  5. I appreciate the honest review! That's not good that it's sticky and comes right off on clothing.

  6. It is a bummer that the glitter didn't work out too well. Hopefully, they'll take consideration of the feedback and make it less sticky in the next release. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
