Today I stop this addiction

I know this might sound weird but hey we get addicted to things in which we do for a long time and stopping it can be very difficult. I am so worried about myself and the act of always rubbing my eyes. It slows my work performance and makes my eye itch. Why do it if you experience all this, I ask myself? well that is why I am here, to seek help and share with you all.

I am afraid that one day, I might just start having issues with my eyes and leave in regrets knowing that I had a choice to stop. It is like I am fighting a battle, the more I try to stop the more I keep doing it. Honestly, I need help and as an online family I will be glad to hear from you all and I believe that sharing it today and as I already know the dangers involved will help me stop this disgusting and dangerous habit.

Addictions come in different forms and this is one I refuse to allow to be named after or before me. I take full control and responsibility of myself. As from this moment, I will not rub my eyes. I am writing only as a human but like I know, I am a small God and my words will go even farther to make this habit so irritating to me.

So help me God. Thank you for your support.

  1. I sometimes rub my eyes too. It's a bad habit, I should stop it too.

  6. I do this a lot when I'm tired and have tried to stop. I think as with any habit you want to break, small steps are the key.

  7. My dear think it's an allergy that comes depending on the season. I remember my uni days in Russia, I was always rubbing my eyes especially during winter and spring. Try going to the apteka for some allergy drops. Be safe dear.
