A good skincare routine that doesn't disturb your skin so much can help skin problems and also delay the natural aging process.
1. Protect your skin from the sun

2. Don't smoke
Nicotine causes blood vessels to narrow, reducing oxygen flow and nutrients to skin cells which decrease blood flow and makes skin paler. Nicotine contributes to wrinkles and premature aging of the skin. Smoking makes your skin lose its elasticity because it damages the collagen and elastin fibers that give your skin strength and elasticity.
In addition, smoking increases your risk of squamous cell skin cancer. If you smoke, the best way to protect your skin is to quit. Ask your doctor for tips or treatments to help you stop smoking.
3. Eat a healthy diet
A healthy diet helps your skin look and feel its best. Fruits, vegetables, fish oil, nuts whole grains, and lean proteins in keeping your skin healthy. Drinking plenty of water helps keep your skin hydrated.
4. Treat your skin gently
Daily cleansing and shaving can take a toll on your skin. To keep it gentle:
Hot water removes oils from your skin. Limit your bath or shower time, and use warm rather than very hot water.
Do not use strong soaps because they remove oil from the skin and can also cause skin irritation for sensitive skin. Try this soap.
Shave carefully. Avoid using shaving sticks on your skin. Protect your skin before shaving by lubricating and using shaving cream, lotion, or gel. To avoid itching when the hair starts growing shave in the direction the hair grows, not against it.
Moisturize dry skin. Dry skin needs adequate moisturization. Use a moisturizer that fits your skin type. For daily use, consider a moisturizer that contains SPF.
SPF sun protection factor is a lotion, spray, gel, foam, stick, or other topical product that absorbs or reflects some of the sun's ultraviolet radiation and thus helps protect against sunburn.
5. Reduce and Manage stress properly.
Uncontrolled stress can cause your sympathetic nervous system to release stress hormones like cortisol and adrenaline into your body. Cortisol causes increased oil production in your skin glands, which can lead to clogged pores and acne breakouts.
