World Malaria Day: Take a quiz.

Educating ourselves and our communities is a critical first step. That’s why we’ve created a brand-new quiz to test your knowledge in honor of this important day of awareness. Please, will you take the quiz before World Malaria Day ends at midnight?

How to help your community.

1. Malaria, along with pneumonia and diarrhea, is a leading cause of death of children under 5. Combined, these preventable and treatable diseases kill nearly 5.6 million children under the age of 5 each year.

2. By providing, mosquito nets, medication, and clean water can help protect children from malaria.

3. By training community health workers to provide basic health care and education services, and we empower them to become permanent resources for their communities. We supplement that care with our Save the Children clinics, which offer treatment in more serious cases, as well as vaccinations, prenatal care, and infant care.

4. Save the Children is on the ground in more than 100 countries worldwide providing the resources vulnerable children need to thrive, including all of the above and more!

“Why Noah Found Grace” Wednesday, April 30, 2025

Key Verse: “But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God” (Genesis 6:8, 9). Text —Genesis 6:1-10 Message: The word ‘Grace’ in our memory verse refers to favour. The Bible records that Noah was just and righteous amid a people whose way of living made God regret that He had made man. He did not allow the pressure from the world to make him conform to their practices. He chose to be different and to honor God. He was a righteous man. His righteousness did not go unnoticed by God and as a result, God chose to keep him and his family safe during the flood and used him to preserve life on earth. Paul Yonggi Cho further defines this kind of grace for believers as, “A good will given out of unconditional, overflowing love with no expectation of reward or payment.” When we are born again and walk righteously, we find favour in the sight of God, ‘for thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield’ (Psalm 5:12). Favour before God begins by being born again, then abundant blessings and benefits become our possession. Are you born again? Quote: He was a righteous man Challenge: Righteousness breeds God’s favour and blessings. Prayer for today: Lord, help me to be righteous in Your sight always.
