Have you tried cream cheese icing on a cheesecake? It’s pretty much the best combination ever!! This cheesecake has all the flavours of a red velvet cake, plus an Oreo base to make it even more delicious.
Here’s what you’ll need👇
Base:
26 (290g) Oreos, finely crushed
90g unsalted butter, melted
Cheesecake:
400ml double cream, cold
500g cream cheese
110g icing sugar
1 tbsp cocoa powder
Strong red food colouring (I used Sugar Flair Red Extra)
Cream cheese icing:
60g butter, softened
110g cream cheese
1 tsp vanilla
250g icing sugar
Tin size: 8” springform pan.
