Friendship's Bracelet: A Heartfelt Gift

Last year, when I met up with my friend in Edinburgh, we had a good time. We enjoyed part of the Christmas holiday together, and it was amazing walking around the Christmas market. During one of her shopping rounds, she decided to gift me this bracelet. I was supposed to open it before Christmas, but I did not because I wanted to do it in my own time and also read the note she put inside at my own pace.

So, finally, I opened it this February, and I must say it is lovely. This bracelet is such a wonderful gift that I don't take it for granted. She has been an amazing friend and sister.

This Dyadema bracelet says 'sista,' meaning sister. I remember her writing a note in the hotel and putting it inside the gift, and I read it and just felt I should share it with you all. There are people you will meet, and you appreciate their presence in your life, and I really appreciate my friend.

Before you ask me why I didn't open it, I have this thing where I just keep saving things that are so meaningful to me and also keeping them hidden from myself, lol, and then I say, 'Okay, I need to open it.' I am so happy to share her beautiful note; I appreciate every word.

Dear God,

Today, I come before You with a grateful heart, lifting up my dear friend to Your loving embrace. I declare ease in her life, Lord, and I ask that You keep her and make her shine brightly in Your light. Guide her steps, Father, and lead her along the path of Your divine plan for her life. Protect her from all harm and evil, and surround her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

Lord, when the time comes for her to enter into the sacred covenant of marriage, I pray that You will lead her to a man who fears You, a man who will love her unconditionally and support her in her journey. May their union be blessed by Your presence, and may they grow old together, hand in hand, walking in Your ways.

Thank You, Lord, for the gift of friendship and for the opportunity to lift each other up in prayer. May Your will be done in her life, now and always. In Jesus' name, I pray.
