Summer is coming, and people are excited about it, but there are people who forget about the summer preparations needed to make summer a pleasant season for everyone. I am talking about summer essentials. We need to make sure we have a beautiful summer, smelling nice and good, protecting our skin and looking good, and letting other people breathe well. So I will just break this post down into different categories: body, skin, and skin protection.
Johnson’s Baby Powder Pure and Gentle Daily Care, 500g:
If you find yourself sweating a lot on your thighs, chest, or back, this powder can be a lifesaver. Applying this white powder can help you stay dry and reduce friction between your thighs, preventing discomfort.
Alternatively, you can try Johnson's Natural Baby Powder. Made from natural cornflour, it's 99% natural and free from parabens, dyes, and phthalates. Dermatologist-tested and formulated with a clinically proven mildness formula, it's gentle on delicate skin. With 2x more moisture absorption than talc-based powders, it effectively keeps skin dry and soft while protecting against rubbing and chafing.
This gentle formula helps soothe and absorb excess moisture, leaving skin dry, fresh, and smooth. Available in sizes of 100g, 200g, and 400g, it's suitable for both babies and adults. Remember to always check the label before purchasing and using the product to ensure it meets your needs.
To use Johnson's Baby Powder:
1. Shake the cornflour baby powder directly into your hand, away from your face, to avoid inhaling it.
2. Smooth the powder onto your skin, particularly after a warm bath or diaper change, to help keep your skin soft, fresh, and comfortable.
3. Close the container tightly after each use and store it in a cool, dry place.
4. Keep the powder away from children's noses and mouths, as inhaling it can cause breathing problems.
5. Avoid getting the powder into your eyes.
6. Remember that Johnson's Baby Powder is for external use only.
Regarding sunscreen:
Using sunscreen is essential year-round, not just in summer. However, some sunscreens can feel oily and make you sweat, causing discomfort and even staining your clothes. Consider using Calypso Sun Clear Protect Dry Oil Spray Sunscreen. This sunscreen dries up immediately after application and has a pleasant scent, making it a great choice for daily use.
To prevent shoe odors in the summer:
1. Make sure to wash your shoes regularly, especially after prolonged use.
2. Air out your shoes frequently to prevent moisture buildup.
3. Use shoe sprays specifically designed to prevent odors.
4. Apply powder to your feet before wearing shoes to absorb moisture.
5. Spray deodorant on your feet to keep them smelling fresh.
6. Note that using deodorant inside stinky shoes may temporarily cover up the smell but won't provide a lasting solution. Instead, consider using rubbing alcohol as a spray. Pour some rubbing alcohol into a spray bottle and mist the interior of your shoes. The alcohol will kill bacteria and eliminate odors as it dries, leaving your shoes smelling fresh.
