Are you planning anything special for Christmas this year? Honestly, I’m not sure what this Christmas will look like for me, but one thing’s for sure—if there’s a chance to attend any festive events, I will be showing up looking my best!
I recently dug out this stunning blackless dress from Uoozee that I’ve had in my closet for a while. When I finally wore it, the fabulous flare sleeves were the perfect fit for me. The dress is a solid color, high-neck, backless mini, and I like it! Since it's already freezing, I paired it with pantyhose, and honestly, it didn’t look bad at all! A little layering hack for winter parties, you know?

Speaking of parties, the holiday season is officially upon us, which means it’s time to plan those Christmas and New Year looks! I’ve got a bunch of holiday outfits lined up that I can't wait to share, but for now, let’s talk about the top trends this season. If you haven’t picked out your outfit for the office party, family gathering, or just a fun night out, there’s still time! Trust me, you don’t have to go overboard. Sometimes the best outfits are the ones you already own. Here’s a little secret: I’m not big on over-planning my outfits. I usually just visualize something cute in my head, do a quick ironing session if needed, hang it up, and I’m good to go. Trying on too many outfits just leaves me tired and confused, and I end up picking the wrong one anyway—can anyone relate?
But seriously, finding the perfect Christmas outfit is all about striking that balance. You want to look unique and original but also honor those classic traditions (yes, I’m talking about wearing something red! . You really don’t need to splurge to look fabulous—chances are, you’ve already got some great pieces in your closet. Just add a little sparkle here and there, maybe a shimmery bag or glittery shoes, and you’re all set to dazzle!
So, go ahead, grab that dress you’ve been saving, throw on a touch of glitter, add some fun accessories, and make that outfit shine. Oh, and don’t forget a cozy pair of hose—it’s giving me all the holiday vibes!
Now tell me, any fun Christmas plans on the horizon? Or have you picked out your perfect holiday look yet? Let’s chat in the comments!

I love fall, though not as much as I love summer. However, there's something special about those golden-yellow leaves falling from the trees that brings me joy, along with a bit of sadness as it reminds me that winter is just around the corner. Maybe it’s just me, but fall is a beautiful season in its own right.
While I don't decorate my home for fall, I definitely dress for it. Fall is all about cozy vibes, and I’m excited to share a simple yet stylish way to wear a sweatshirt this season while staying both warm and fashionable.
Fall Fashion Staples: Sweatshirts and Beyond
When it comes to fall outfit ideas, fashion-forward ladies know that trends change. What was hot last year might be a no-go this season, but there’s one fall fashion trend that never goes out of style: the sweatshirt. It’s a true fall wardrobe essential, and no matter how trends shift, a cozy sweatshirt remains a staple.
Personally, I’ve always wanted a grey sweatshirt because it’s just as versatile as the classic black. Whether you’re going for a casual day out or layering for those chillier fall evenings, sweatshirts are perfect. In winter, we may cover them with heavy coats or jackets, but in fall, a sweatshirt alone can be enough for warmth, especially in milder regions.
The perfect fall outfit is all about being both comfortable and stylish. That’s why I’m loving this oversized Gingerbread Bakery Christmas Sweatshirt—it's bold, cozy, and perfect for autumn.
How to Dress for Fall: Key Pieces for Layering
Fall is officially the season for sweater weather, and layering outfits is a must. Whether you’re pulling on cozy knits, neutral tones, plaid shirts, or fall jackets, there are certain fall wardrobe essentials that complete the look. Here are my top picks:
1. Sweatshirts: For that cozy fall vibe, go for oversized sweatshirts. I’m currently rocking the bold, oversized Gingerbread Bakery Sweatshirt, which is perfect for keeping me warm during my autumn adventures.
2. Rain Boots: I can't stress enough how important rain boots are—especially in Glasgow, where it rains all year round! Rain boots are an absolute fall must-have, and they’re essential for staying dry while still looking stylish in this unpredictable weather. I got mine from Tk maxx.
3. Cowboy Hat: Yes, you heard me right—a cowboy hat! It may seem unexpected, but it adds a cool, laid-back element to your fall look while offering some protection from the wind.
4. Light Layers: I’m the queen of layering, though you’d never guess how much I’ve got on! I always wear a shirt or polo under my sweatshirt to keep warm. Layering light garments underneath is key to staying comfortable without looking bulky.
5. Scarves: Scarves are another essential for fall. Not only do they add to your outfit, but they’re also great for keeping your neck warm as the temperatures drop.
If I told you how angry I was while taking these photos, you’d probably laugh. My partner was putting in his absolute best effort, trying to capture good shots, but I was so focused on the pictures not turning out how I imagined. I wanted to look chic, but somehow, I ended up looking more sexy, which was not the plan at all!
At one point, I honestly felt like I had no photos that I could post, but he kept encouraging me the whole time. When we got home and relaxed, I ended up finding plenty of photos I liked. He looked at me and said, “If only you had let me take more shots and stopped frowning, I could’ve taken even better ones.” If you're a fashion blogger, you know the frustration of photos not coming out as planned. It can be draining because you want to look beautiful and have your outfit appear stylish, just like it does in real life... lol.
Halfway through the shoot, I realized that my shoe choice wasn’t the best, but honestly, it was still an okay option for the outfit.
So, how did this look come together? Well, I wanted something different to pair with my black stretchy slim round neck knit vest from Prepreworks. I didn’t want to go with pants, which would have been a more expected styling. I just wanted something unique.
What I love about the top is that it’s airy and slim-fitting. The material is lovely and has a great texture, not the usual fabric you see. Can you guess what I like most about the skirt? Definitely the length and the vintage prints! I’m a sucker for vintage prints because they always stand out in such a cool way. I paired the two pieces with my blue heels from River Island to finish the look.
What are you up to today? Got any weekend plans? I’m staying home all day, and I’m so happy about it because I’m watching Selling Sunset on Netflix!
Last Saturday, I went to visit the Govan Stones with my partner, and it was a lovely tour. Today, I’ll be sharing what I wore and keeping this post simple. Later next week, I’ll share my entire tour of the Govan Stones and other places we visited. I’m super excited to share this with you as it is historic and, in my opinion, interesting.
I changed in the car because I knew the weather could get cold and unpredictable—one minute it’s cold, and the next, it’s raining and windy. I wore this pink short outfit to the second location, but since the first location we visited was a church, I wore black cargo pants from Route one instead.
Here’s what I wore:
Pink Shorts: H&M
White/Green Tee: River Island
Sleeveless Jacket: Topshop
Shoes: Zara

Hey lovelies! Happy Saturday! I hope you’re all having the best weekend ever with your family and friends. I’m so excited to share my latest outfit with you all—these pink shorts. They are cute and versatile. I feel like I could wear them anywhere while running errands, grabbing coffee, or just chilling in the park.
First off, can we talk about this shade of pink? It’s the perfect pop of color for spring, and it instantly lifts my mood whenever I put them on. If you’re like me and usually gravitate towards denim or dresses, these solid pink shorts are such a fun change. I spotted them I knew right away they had to be mine!
For today’s look, I paired the shorts with a simple three-toned green, black and white tee from River Island. It’s super easy to tuck in, which totally puts all the focus on the shorts. And guess what? The tee is less than $10! Such a steal, right? I mean, you probably already have a white tee in your closet, so you can totally recreate this look.
Hi everyone! Happy Sunday. I want to start by saying a big thank you to everyone who has been commenting on my blog, sharing my posts, and offering suggestions. I truly appreciate your input. Today is Sunday, and it's another day to shine in my world because I go to church every Sunday and sometimes attend weekly activities. So, welcome to another blog post about what I wore to church.
In a previous post where I showcased my church attire, I received numerous comments about how people dress for church, and I must say, you're all correct. I'm not here to judge, but I believe we all know what is appropriate to wear to church. Last week, some outfits caught my attention, but one really stood out because the person wore really tight trousers. The pant line was so pronounced, and she was standing in the middle row.
Try to avoid wearing anything see-through or too short, like above the knee. It's probably a good idea to skip outfits that might seem disrespectful in a place like church. Clothing like low-cut or backless dresses, tank tops, or anything that shows your stomach or goes above your knee aren’t the best choices for church. You can still look cute and stylish while keeping it modest!
The church is a place for everyone to worship, but it is also a place where we should respect and honor God in the right way. It made me wonder why some people feel so comfortable wearing clothing that exposes their sensitive body parts to church. I guess I might never know.
Now, I’m always excited to share my outfit with you all, and today I’m featuring another classy look by Uoozee Fashion. This two-piece batwing sleeve set is perfect for work and formal events. It fits perfectly, and I love the length of the flare pants. I styled this outfit in two different ways—flowing or tucked in. Did I mention the quality of the material is great? I'm not sure I would usually go for this style, but I’m really happy with the choice.
Initially, I wanted to wear black heels, but I changed my mind and went with these turquoise blue pumps by River Island. You can agree with me that it was the perfect choice.
There are a few trends that I’m really investing in this summer, like cowboy hats, fitted tops, matching sets, and classy dresses, but I especially love this gorgeous shade of lime green high-waist pants and loose off-the-shoulder blouse! 💚 It’s such a fun, vibrant color. Lime green was not a color I thought would match me, but I might be wrong, because this two-piece from Uoozee.com is proving otherwise.
Lime green is not the easiest to pull off, in my opinion, and I didn't expect the camel-colored cowboy hat to match so well. I was not sure about the shoe color, so I went online to browse for lime green outfit ideas, and that's how I went with white.
With its lightweight polyester fabric, this two-piece set is the perfect choice for a summer vacation on the beach and gatherings. There’s so many ways you can style this set depending on the vibe or situation, but I really wanted to play safe, so I paired the set with my white cover heels I bought from Temu.

One hat style that's totally trending lately is the cowboy hat! When I wore this hat, all I could think of was Beyoncé’s “This Ain’t Texas” song. I caught the cowboy bug and now I really want a pair of cowboy boots! I’ve always loved the cowboy style, and starting with a hat was a perfect first step.
It’s been ages since I wore denim on denim, and what better way to spend my day off than in skinny jeans by the seaside?
Denim on denim can have such a fun twist, especially when you’re rocking it by the seaside. The Western look can be tailored to your personal style. There are no rules to getting it right. Western-inspired wardrobes are super comfortable and suit everyone.
If you're curious about how to rock a cowboy hat, you've come to the right place. I’ve been obsessed with this new trend, and there's no sign of it slowing down.
Cowboy fashion is all about comfort and versatility, and the best part is there are no strict rules. Whether you go for a full-on fringe look or just a hint of Western charm, you’re sure to make a stylish statement. So grab your cowboy hat, maybe those boots, and embrace the trend with confidence!
It does not matter if you’re a hardcore fan of Western style or just want to add some personality to your wardrobe, mastering the art of wearing a cowboy hat can elevate your fashion game. When Queen Bee herself, Beyoncé, wears it, you know it’s gotta be good.
The classic cowboy look has been a staple in American fashion for over a century.
My parcel arrived on Saturday, and when I opened it, I was so happy. I have shopped for different items in the Uoozee online store, and they all looked good and caused a stare.
When I saw the dress, I wasn’t sure about the fit. I always want my dresses to look extremely flattering. This black loose sleeveless solid-color split-side shawl collar maxi dress turned out to be more stunning than I expected. The shawl collar that flows to the back is something I like; it adds a little fun flare to the dress. I added red lipstick, and it did the trick. This dress is absolutely lovely. Guess how much it cost? I am waiting...
Well, you were wrong. It was only

Black tote bag; River Island £45

Matte Golden Color Irregular Geometric Twisted Dangle Drop Earrings: Temu £0.78
Let me give you a little background on this outfit. I wanted to look both simple and stylish, which is why I chose to wear my H&M tank top and Zara baggy jeans. I wanted to wear sneakers, but I was like, 'Hold on, girl. ' Don't you see those girls on Instagram looking all good by stepping up their look with pointed heels or stilettos? I said to myself, baby girl, you are not missing out on an opportunity to wear heels with jeans, which I rarely do, and still feel comfortable and look fabulous.
When I wore the heels, I knew this was the outfit that was going to cause a lot of attention, and with my Ghana-waved braids, I was all set to go.
I went for a private dinner for two, and then we ended up walking the streets of Glasgow before going in October to dance the night away. Well, I didn't dance, but I had a drink and moved my body while enjoying the music.
Let's talk about getting the right tank top that fits you.
In my small world of experience, I would advise you to get your size. If you are a size small, get a size small; that way, it will fit your body just as it is. If you get a size bigger, the styling sense for pairing with baggy jeans won't give as much of a fashion stamp as it would when wearing a tank top in your size.
Jeans are one of the best go-tos for most fashionable ladies. What makes your jeans even more fashionable is your top and sometimes your shoes. In my case, I must say that my JW Pei bag elevated this outfit. At night, the crystals in my bag shone bright like a diamond. This is the best bag for a night out.
My glasses are from Firmoo. I must say their glasses are so durable. I have had these glasses for more than 5 years and they are still one of my best. Use the code: jacob50 for 50% off code.
I got the gold loops from Primark, I think. Here are some options:
Sometimes all we need is a pair of good jeans and a tank top. Please let me know your thoughts on this outfit. Would you wear this on a date?
During graduation, we stopped at the Hilton Aberdeen TECA for a meal, and I must say, they did not disappoint. The fresh soup, pizza bread, and fries were all delicious. I enjoyed it so much that when the food at the Aloft Aberdeen TECA was not as good, my friend said, "Now you see the difference between the two hotels. That's why Hilton is more expensive." We laughed it off and continued to enjoy our trip.
There isn't much to say about this post, other than the fact that we stopped here for a quick meal with the graduate's friends. That's why I don't have much to say about this place, even though I would have preferred to stay here because the food was better and the decor was more modern and photogenic.
The hotel decor was absolutely stunning. Standing between those artworks on the wall made me feel like the centerpiece, as I am an art created by God Almighty. I stood out and gave it the beauty it deserves. I loved these photos from the moment they were taken, and I enjoyed every minute spent there. I felt so relaxed and enjoyed my meal with the great view while getting to know my new friend, whom I just met at the graduation. I will be talking about my new friend soon.
If you have been following my blog, you are probably aware that this is the second time I have worn this dress. I have also mentioned that it is from Zara and was one of my best purchases last summer. My bag details here.
Did I mention that it was a stone's throw from the Aloft Aberdeen TECA hotel? For now, what do you think about the decor at the Hilton Aberdeen TECA?
I finally get to style pink and orange in a way that I really like. Look at me, I look so lovely! I must say, I wanted that skirt to be longer as I would have felt even more comfortable while sitting, but overall I look so lovely.
If you remember when Beyoncé wore pink and orange on several occasions, it became a trend. Ever since then, I have always wanted to match those two colors together. While I wanted to style this outfit, I also wanted to look different and make my style my own. I prefer to take inspiration and make the look my own. Take Beyoncé, for example. When she stepped out in fuchsia shorts and a tangerine sweater in 2015, I thought, "Wow, that is a brilliant color combination." This was the era of color blocking, and it was the highlight of the fashion world.
She was wearing a Cushnie et Ochs Tangerine Cut Out Long Sleeve Knit Jersey and DSquared2 Fuchsia Pink Leather Shorts, styled with hot-pink pumps and an emerald handbag.
