I was looking for a place where I could go for a stroll that was also lovely and serene, and I think I made the right decision when I decided to go to Kelvingrove Park instead of somewhere else. This park features expansive seating spaces, lakes, a river, and a variety of birds and squirrels.
This park, which Sir Joseph Paxton designed and covers an area of 34 hectares (85 acres), is a model of a traditional Victorian park. Its layout and location on the banks of the River Kelvin, which enhance and complement the numerous spectacular structures that surround the world-famous Art Gallery and Museum that are prominently featured within it, respectively, are two of the building's defining characteristics.
Kelvin Groove Park is open at all times.
