3. Set a timer for 20 minutes and make an effort to write until the alarm goes off, if possible. To avoid feeling overwhelmed when you first begin journaling, set aside a little amount of time each day to devote to the practice. Start with 20 minutes, but feel free to alter the length of time to better suit your own requirements. While the timer is running, jot down or enter any words that come to mind during the process.

Don't be concerned with writing about your thoughts or worries right now, even though that is the ultimate aim. You can write something like "I don't know what to say," "This seems foolish," or "I can't think of anything right now" if you want to be honest. If you stick with it, you'll begin to uncover your innermost feelings and thoughts.

4. Don't be concerned about spelling or punctuation. It doesn't matter if you use appropriate sentences or if you spell words correctly in your diary since it is for you. Allowing your thoughts to flow freely without any self-editing is recommended.

If your grammar errors are causing you significant distress, it is OK to go back and rectify them at a later time. But it isn't necessary in this case.

5. If you don't enjoy writing in sentences, you may be more creative with your formatting. Even if you despise writing or are unable to come up with anything to say, you may still get the advantages of journaling. Don't be concerned about writing out sentences or paragraphs. Experiment with different ways of structuring entries until you discover one that works well for you. Here are some examples of how you might express yourself:

Every time I come across some posts on any social media platform, Instagram in particular, I begin to wonder what our generation will become in the years to come. We are in a generation where almost everything is accepted and morals have been replaced with the freedom to express yourself.

Has social media done more harm than good? Can you take a moment to think and reflect on how much good social media has impacted your life and how much positive vibe you get each time you visit your favorite social media site? I cannot skip the good work social media has done, like creating job opportunities for jobless people, creating danger awareness, increasing exposure in general, meeting new people, and staying close to the world with one push.

As with everything, there is good and bad, but you will agree with me that humans have a higher tendency to emulate the wrong part even though they have the freedom of choice. Personally, I have learned a lot on social media. I make money from my social platforms, but bad influence seems to be the order of the day. This is more about how you use it personally, but in general, I think that social media has done more harm than good.
Priorities have been misplaced; people basically live their lives based on the influence of another person, celebrities, or trends. A lot of people have lost it and are yet to realize how deeply they have drowned in social influence.

There's a little issue between two couples, and it's all over social media. When a lot of people are involved in an issue, you have both bad and good opinions, and at this point, it is very difficult to decide. The type of content you put out there says a lot about you. The that life is not all about social media; it may seem that way, but if you look way deeper, you will see beyond that. Pornography and nudity are all over social media, and moderation can't be exactly controlled as new pages are created per minute each day. Be careful of what you view; it influences your mind subconsciously. Our thoughts germinate and are watered by what we see.

A lot of people are living in their shadows; not everyone showing off money and wearing expensive items on social media owns them. Do not live your life trying to fit into a circle. People have become thieves, trying to fit in; some have gone into dirty lifestyles just to stand out. Not all hustles you see are real; people put out business pages, and underground they do different things. You are your biggest competition; don't allow the media to push you.

Some people show off things that they don't own, going to the extreme just to post content to please their followers and viewers. I was seeing a movie about a lady who basically lives a fake lifestyle on social media. She literally goes into stores to try on clothes and take photos; she later graduates by stealing the items, which led to the biggest disgrace of her life. Not all that glitters is gold; are you already too familiar with this phrase? Live by it, and you will enjoy life in the most realistic way and form.

I am a Christian from birth, and as a believer and follower of Jesus Christ, I have come across lots of provocative content belittling and mocking my belief. This can spoil your day and make you feel way down. Sometimes, if you reply to this content, it turns into cyberbullying and an Internet clash. People blaspheme and say different things online since they just sit at home in their comfort zone and press the post button. I have refused to have my belief tampered with. No one regulates belief assault. We are all entitled to our opinions, but we shouldn't be stupid about it.

What if there was a method to completely avoid freezing?

To assist people with Parkinson's disease in walking without freezing, researchers from Boston University Sargent College of Health & Rehabilitation Sciences and Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS) used a soft, wearable robot that is placed around the tightened hips to gently press the hips when the leg swings.

The research showed the potential of soft robotics used to treat the dangrous symptoms of Parkinson disease, giving people the ability to regain both their mobility and independence.

Walsh's Biodesign Lab at SEAS has been developing technologies to improve life.

The Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering supported some of those technologies, including an exosuit for post-stroke gait retraining, and Harvard's Office of Technology Development arranged a license arrangement with ReWalk Robotics to commercialize the technology.

SEAS and Sargent College received a grant from the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative to support the development and translation of next-generation robotics and wearable technologies in 2022. The Move Lab's goal is to support advancements in human performance and enhance them by providing the R&D infrastructure, funding, collaborative space, and experience needed to transform promising research into mature technologies that can be translated through industry partnerships, which serves as the focal point for the research.

Three months were spent by the team working with a 73-year-old man who had Parkinson’s disease and had significant and incapacitating freezing episodes more than ten times a day. Despite using both surgical and pharmaceutical treatments, he still had frequent falls, making him rely on a scooter to move around and prevent him from walking around his community.

In previous research, Walsh and his team made use of human-in-the-loop optimization to demonstrate that a soft, wearable device can be used to augment hip flexion and assist in swinging the leg forward to provide an efficient approach to reducing energy expenditure during walking in healthy individuals.

The researchers addressed freezing using the same approach. It is worn around the waist and thighs, and it is powered by actuators and sensors. With the motion data collected by the sensor, algorithms determine the phase of gait and produce assistive forces in sync with the muscle contraction.

The result was immediate. The patient was able to walk without freezing indoors and with just sporadic episodes outdoors without the need for any extra training. Without the gadget, he was also able to walk and talk without freezing, which was unusual.

The team was quite thrilled to observe how the technology affected the subjects' gait," stated Jinsoo Kim, a co-lead author of the study and a former Ph.D. candidate at SEAS.

Ellis went on to say, "We don't really know why this approach works so well because we don't really understand freezing." This study, however, points out the potential benefits of approaching gait freezing from the "bottom-up" rather than the "top-down" perspective. The recovery to nearly normal biomechanics alters the peripheral gait dynamics and may influence the processing of central gait control.
Andrew Chin, Teresa Baker, Nicholas Wendel, Hee Doo Yang, Jinsoo Kim, and Franchino Porciuncula were co-authors of the study. Ada Huang, Asa Eckert-Erdheim, and Dorothy Orzel also contributed to the technology's design, and Sarah Sullivan oversaw the clinical research.

The interventions that are suggested create intergenerational programs that lead to long-lasting, community-driven intergenerational contact, and they are affordable and simple to put into practice. Its branch, which offers instructions on organizing and facilitating 40 intergenerational activities that have been proven effective by seasoned practitioners, is especially helpful.

The report did not hide from reporting the limitations of current research either. Most of it has only been done on a small scale by a small group of people rather than a broader population. This has limited the conclusion from a broader perspective.

The report has also recommended, in different social and physical environments and with participants in other demographic groups and socioeconomic characteristics, including the influence of different intergenerational interactions.
