Bright Chimezie is a Nigerian music industry legend, and we would like to wish him a happy birthday. Bright Chimezie, who was born on October 1, 1960 and is married to Chinyere Chimezie, is a musician from Abia State, Nigeria. His musical style was dubbed the Zigima Sound. In the early 1980s, this genre gained popularity in the eastern portion of Nigeria. It is a combination of traditional Nigerian music, Igbo highlife, and chanted vocals. Bright Chimezie used it to change the way Nigerian music was put together by writing funny lyrics about the country's social problems.
