So, on the second day of the year 2023, I finally posted an Instagram reel after a long time, which you can see below. I look so lovely, and I made the video in one take. I don't really post Instagram reels, and it might come as a surprise that I am not so into the media, but I like to be involved in writing and fashion. All the same, it's an interesting process that can sometimes be fun and sometimes boring all at once. Do you get bored with Instagram?

If you have followed my blog for 4-5 years, you will notice I used to post a lot of photos in the winter, but right now I can't. While taking these photos, I got cold, but the weather wasn't so cold today, so I enjoyed this session.

When I picked this dress, I was a bit skeptical due to the breast cut; I didn't want my breasts out, but I figured it wasn't going to be that way. I have worn a few white dresses, and I am beginning to feel like the color white looks good on me.

We all have that dress that activates the sexiness in us, and this white asymmetrical strap cut-out mini dress from Femme Luxe does it for me. I didn't expect the dress to fit me and flatter my shoulder area, but when I wore it, oh, I loved it.

Well, beautiful people, you can purchase this dress and other products like Women’s loungewear setsLittle black dressWhite midi dress, and Ripped jeans for women all from Femme Luxe.

Ladies, Valentine's Day is approaching, and I believe I already have the right dress for that special day on February 14. What are your thoughts? Is this dress perfect for Valentine's Day?

Business success is determined by several factors, including talent, leadership, and strategy. While many leaders can exert control over their organizations' internal operations, there is often little they can do to ensure that the economy, political landscape, and competition act and react in their favor.

As a result, preparation is critical in business. The right business strategy can quickly make an impact, whether through complements or substitutes.

If you're curious about how business strategy can help you and your company adapt, here's a primer on what complements and substitutes are, how they can benefit your organization, and why you should incorporate them into your business model.

In business, what is a complementary good or service?

A complement is a product or service that increases the willingness to pay (WTP) of a customer for another product or service. Customers with printers, for example, are willing to pay more for ink because a printer is useless without ink cartridges. Another example is razor blades, which are required for razors to function properly. These products are considered complementary because they rely on one another to serve customers.

When used correctly, compliments can be extremely beneficial and encourage companies to create businesses outside of their core industries. However, the exclusivity decision is especially important for emerging industries and product categories.

Consider the electric car company Tesla, which is used as an example in business strategy. While constructing electric car charging stations across the country, Tesla faced a critical decision: should the stations charge all-electric vehicles or only those manufactured by Tesla? The latter was chosen by the company. By developing an exclusive service for Tesla owners, the company not only increased the WTP for its product but also slowed the adoption of battery-powered vehicles.

This example raises an important question for all strategists: Should you make two products mutually exclusive in order to maximize sales, or should you allow competitors to sell complementary alternatives to your core product in order to increase functionality for customers and elevate the entire industry?

Complements for Specific Industries
Industry-specific complements raise a customer's willingness to pay for specific products and services within an industry. Using them is an effective strategy for businesses looking to expand their market reach. "A rising tide lifts all boats," writes HBS Professor Felix Oberholzer-Gee in Business Strategy.

For example, if a company developed a simple syrup that eliminated the calories in any alcoholic drink to which it was added, the alcohol industry would likely see an increase in health-conscious customers. As a result, sales of simple syrup would rise. In this case, the syrup is a non-proprietary, industry-level complement, which is the most effective at generating industry-wide impact.

Complements for Your Business
If you want to gain market share, you must keep compliments confidential. Company-specific complements increase the WTP of your company's goods and provide you with a competitive advantage in your industry.

For example, if a vodka company created the aforementioned simple syrup to only work with its products, sales of both vodka and syrup would increase. As a result, its competitors' market shares would fall.

If you’ve never experienced the delights of Scandinavia before, the awe-inspiring natural beauty of Iceland is a good place to start. A country that offers everything from volcanoes to glaciers, hot springs to black sand beaches, and lava fields to waterfalls amid a backdrop of uniquely sculpted mountains, Iceland is a truly one-of-a-kind travel experience.

But with so much to see, where should you start with planning a luxury trip out to Iceland? Here’s a short guide on why, where, and how you should go.

The reasons to go

While technically not a geographical member of Scandinavia, Iceland embodies everything that’s naturally and culturally brilliant about the region. The main reason to visit is, of course, the country’s incredibly vast and varied array of natural beauty spots – and the unique natural properties of Iceland make it a truly wondrous place to visit.

You can see the famous aurora borealis (otherwise known as the northern lights), take a dip in a geothermal lake, bask on a black sand beach and take in countless other postcard-worthy experiences.

Beyond Iceland’s stunning nature is its people – generally considered to be some of the friendliest on earth. Add to that a food scene that focuses on local fresh produce that includes lobster, cod, lamb, and Skyr, and there are plenty of reasons to make Iceland your next must-visit destination.

Prune

Contrary to what people have always thought, a recent study shows that drinking prune juice actually helps with constipation.

Researchers recruited 84 individuals with chronic constipation, defined as fewer than three bowel movements per week or hard stools for the previous three months. The participants consumed 200 grammes (about 1 cup) of prune juice or a placebo drink with a similar taste every day for eight weeks.

After only three weeks, those consuming prune juice reported fewer instances of hard, lumpy stools than those consuming the placebo. After seven weeks, most had regular bowel movements. An increased risk of diarrhoea and flatulence has previously been cited as a disadvantage of prune juice, but the participants in this study reported no such issues.

So guys, today I will be sharing one of my favourite photos, which is this pink dress from Femme Luxe. I was never drawn to or cared about pink items as a child, but for some reason, I don't mind wearing pink clothing now. I just love the contrast with my skin, and as usual, this is one of those dresses that can be styled in different ways. I managed to capture only two ways to style this pink mini dress by Femme Luxe, which I am happy to share with you.

So first of all, do you like pink? If yes, there are different colours that go with pink, but that doesn't really matter when you plan on wearing it with a neutral colour or just pink as it is.

Wear a pink dress as it is. One of the most common ways to style mini dresses is to wear them as they are; they fit parties and require little gathering, and depending on the style and length of the dress, you can wear them to formal events. I have been planning on wearing this dress, but I didn't feel I should just wear it without having an event, but I ended up wearing it for a day out in my city just before the new year.
